Customer Success Representative
Overview:
FarmQA is a growing SaaS company serving the agriculture industry with intuitive digital tools that help agronomists and farmers better manage their operations.
We are seeking a dedicated and determined full-time Customer Success Representative to join our team to help users get the most out of our platform. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. You will handle inquiries, troubleshoot problems, provide information, and resolve any emerging issues with efficiency and professionalism. The ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative, with a strong dedication to customer success.
This is an in-office position based in Fargo, ND, offering a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, long-term stability, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and live chat.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through productive and empathetic interactions.
- Educate users on new and existing FarmQA features to ensure they receive maximum value from their subscription.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
- Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Take ownership of customers' issues and follow through to resolution.
- Assist with placing orders and doing customer upselling.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Attend trade shows to assist sales and marketing.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Associate degree: bachelor’s degree preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a similar role within the agriculture industry.
- Familiarity with agriculture or agtech industries.
- Knowledge of agriculture software solutions.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
