FarmQA Introduces Digital Agronomy Platform to Connect Field Decisions from Observation to Action

Company introduces QA Advisor as the new name for its established agronomy platform, alongside QA Farmer, creating a clearer product ecosystem for agronomists and growers.

FARGO, N.D. — October 22, 2026 — FarmQA today announced the next evolution of its digital agronomy offerings, introducing QA Advisor as the new name for its established agronomy software alongside QA Farmer under the FarmQA company brand.

The change reflects FarmQA’s growing focus on connecting the agronomic decision cycle, from observations in the field and recommendations from agronomists to the actions growers take and the records that inform future decisions.

For existing FarmQA customers, QA Advisor is the platform they already use for crop scouting, soil sampling, imagery, recommendations, field planning, variable-rate prescriptions, application tracking, and field records. The new name more clearly identifies who the platform serves and distinguishes it from FarmQA, the company behind the technology.

“Our customers have long relied on FarmQA to turn field observations into better agronomic decisions,” said Kris Poulson, CEO of FarmQA. “QA Advisor gives that trusted platform a clearer identity, while QA Farmer helps bring relevant information directly to growers.”

From Observation to Action

Agronomic decisions rarely happen in isolation. A field observation can lead to a recommendation, which leads to action by the grower and ultimately becomes part of the field’s history.

FarmQA is building its products around connecting those steps.

With QA Advisor, agronomists can capture observations, analyze field information, build recommendations, and manage agronomic records across the acres they serve.

In QA Advisor, a scouting observation becomes a recommendation for the grower.

QA Farmer extends that connection to growers, giving them access to recommendations and information about their operation from their mobile devices.

Together, QA Advisor and QA Farmer support a more connected flow of information between agronomists and growers throughout the season.

Observe. Recommend. Act. Record.

“A recommendation shouldn’t be the end of the story,” said Poulson. “We want to connect what an agronomist sees and recommends with what the grower does next. Better records of those decisions can help inform the next ones.”

Application records close the loop, so each decision becomes part of the field history.

Today, more than 50 million acres are managed through FarmQA’s technology.

A Clearer FarmQA

The introduction of QA Advisor is part of a broader refresh of the FarmQA brand.

Moving forward, FarmQA will serve as the company brand, with QA Advisor and QA Farmer as its core products:

  • QA Advisor is built for agronomists, crop consultants, ag retailers and other agricultural professionals who manage agronomic information and provide recommendations to growers.
  • QA Farmer is built for growers, providing access to agronomic information alongside tools that help them make everyday decisions across their operations.

FarmQA has also launched a redesigned website that reflects the new product structure and helps agronomists, growers, and agribusinesses find the tools and information most relevant to them.

These changes build on more than a decade of FarmQA’s work in digital agronomy and lay the groundwork for its next phase of product development.
