FarmQA Opens Soil Lab Integration to Any Lab, Closing the Gap Between Sample and Result

No exports, no spreadsheets, no manual matching

FARGO, N.D., Aug. 27, 2026—FarmQA, a leading digital agronomy platform, today announced a soil lab integration that works with any onboarded lab. Results come back and match to the right samples automatically, with no one re-entering a number.

Previous lab connections were built one lab at a time. This release replaces that model with a single standardized path. Labs send MODUS XML results back to FarmQA, and FarmQA matches them to the originating samples—no export to download, no spreadsheet to reconcile, no manual keying.

ServiTech, Rock River Labs, WayPoint Analytical, and Ward Labs are onboarded on the integration today, with additional labs onboarding through the fall.

“Manually keying in lab results is exactly the kind of work that shouldn’t exist anymore. Every manual entry is a chance for a number to end up in the wrong field. We built this to work with any lab from the start, so we can support whoever our customers are already sending samples to, instead of adding labs one at a time.”

—Kris Poulson, CEO of FarmQA

One Integration, Not One Per Lab

The integration is built around a standardized submission and results format, not lab-specific logic, so adding a new lab doesn’t mean building something from scratch. When a soil sampling task is completed, FarmQA sends the submission to the lab; when results come back in the MODUS XML format, FarmQA automatically matches each result to the sample it came from.

For agronomy teams, that means adding a new lab is an onboarding step, not a development project. Instead of being limited by which labs already have support built in, teams can work with the labs they or their customers are already using.

Sample Plans Built Once, Used Every Season

Sampling plans built in one season carry forward to the next. Agronomists reuse the same plan year over year, with only the data changing.

The integration covers all three sampling strategies. Grid, zone, and composite plans submit and return results through the same path, so teams running mixed programs across growers work in one workflow rather than three.

Results Land Ready to Use

Soil results arrive attached to the samples they came from and are ready to drive recommendations and prescriptions. The digital thread runs from the moment a sample is pulled to the moment its data is usable—the reconciliation step in the middle is gone.

The maps come with them. Nutrient results render into printable map books a grower can take back to the shop, built from the same data driving the prescription, not assembled separately in another tool.

A full page shows the phosphorus soil test map with three zones, ranging from 49 to 55 ppm, plus field details and acres per zone. Beside it, six cards show other map layers for the same field: nitrate, potassium, pH, an anhydrous ammonia application map, organic matter and sulfur.

Built for Scale

For agronomists managing sampling across dozens of growers and hundreds of fields, the update removes hours of manual reconciliation from the busiest weeks of the season. The release arrives ahead of fall soil sampling season, when the volume of samples moving through agronomy teams makes speed and accuracy especially important.

FarmQA’s existing AgVise Laboratories integration, announced in 2023, continues to operate on its original lab-specific connection.
