Our story

Started with a question. Built around the people asking it.

The agronomic platform behind 47M+ acres and over a decade of field-tested data.

Agronomist inspecting crops in an agricultural field
FarmQA began with a vision of the “digital cockpit”, a dashboard where a farmer could see every data point streaming in and make their next move with confidence. Our founder, Howard, called it Quality Assurance: the promise that every acre was accounted for.
But as boots hit the field, a different story emerged. The agronomists and farmers who walk the rows aren’t monitoring screens; they’re asking and answering questions about fields, markets, weather, and what they have stored and where it is. To them, “Quality Assurance” felt like a software term for a boardroom. Their reality is much more active.
Every day, they arrive at the farm with a mind full of inquiry. They solve puzzles with growth, grit, and a little help from Mother Nature. They realized that QA isn’t a corporate metric, it’s the heartbeat of their process: Question and Answer.
Today, FarmQA is where the machine’s unwavering precision meets the expert’s seasoned intuition. We provide the tools to ask the right questions and, more importantly, the platform to find the definitive answers.
Our vision
A future where all acres have a trusted advisor, who stewards those acres well.
“QA isn’t a corporate metric — it’s the heartbeat of their process: Question and Answer.”

Built for both sides of the agronomy relationship.

FarmQA has grown from an idea about better farm data into two products built around the people making decisions in the field.

Different tools. One connected experience.

QA Advisor and QA Farmer are built to work together, keeping agronomists and farmers aligned with the same, trusted information.
Define sampling locations window in the QA Advisor web app, showing sample points across four management zones for a zone sample on Castillo Dryland 80. Beside it, a phone shows the same field and sample points in the mobile Soil samples map.

What we believe

Technology should strengthen agronomy, not replace it.

The best agricultural decisions don’t come from software alone. They come from experienced people asking good questions, understanding what they’re seeing and having the right information at the right time.
That’s why we build technology that helps agronomists and farmers work smarter together, while keeping human judgment at the center.

People before platforms

Agriculture runs on trusted relationships. Technology should make those relationships stronger.

Answers start with better questions

Good agronomy isn’t about collecting more data. It’s about knowing what to ask of it.

Built for the field

If a tool doesn’t work when and where agriculture happens, it doesn’t work.
