Jeff Kamstra, as CTO / COO manages a large portion of the FarmQA team including engineering, support, sales and marketing. Working in a startup you will typically find him preparing investor presentations, board meeting content, business plans and pitch decks or scheming on our next big investment area.
Prior to FarmQA, Jeff held several senior technical level positions during his 22 years at Microsoft / Great Plains. These roles include Principal Software Architect and Principal Development Manager. He has deep technical background in building scalable SaaS solutions and has noted specializations in data integrations, business process automation and software development lifecycle improvements.
While at Microsoft Jeff also participated in numerous senior level technical discussions focused on high performance compute and data strategies with an emphasis on business application creation.
Prior to his notable career in software, Jeff spent 7 years in the US Army working as a Signals Intelligence Analyst / Cryptologist and also attended the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA.
Outside of work Jeff has too many hobbies to count most recently learning to mig and tig weld while also trying to perfect his secret career aspiration of becoming a barista in his kitchen.
